I wanted to be a tattoo artist when I was little. It was the mid-90s and the heroes of my childhood were the wildly tattooed rappers, rock stars and athletes, the wilder the better. That was the birth of Wilde Tinte, because I knew from the start that I would do that at some point. I got my first tattoo machine from the States when I was 17, but it was so new that no one here could explain it to me.
FINELINE
After graduating from high school in art and design in Münster, I studied painting at the Düsseldorf Art Academy and from there switched to MSD, where I soon - and following my actual passion - left the academic path and taught myself tattooing. I'm Wilde Tinte, I don't need typical "lessons" - was never my thing. I think that you can learn to tattoo - but not the art of tattooing.
MICROREALISM
Today I am passionate about the personality of my customers and immortalize their wishes artistically and always uniquely on their skin. But as Wilde Ink I never want to commit to one style, I want to take every design as a challenge. I filter from all possible styles and merge the designs into a new work of art. My tattoos impress with their attention to detail, delicate lines and precision. My favorite styles are currently: fineline, microrealism and black gray.
